Checks written to the school that are returned for insufficient funds will be charged both the original amount of the check and a $25.00 return check charge.  The school office will notify the recipient of the problem and prompt payment to the school is expected.  Legal action will be pursued and the person’s check will not be valid for any school purpose until the previous problem is corrected.  Any outstanding debt owed to the school, may prevent a child from attending a paid field trip until the debt has been corrected.  Any outstanding debt owed to the school at the close of each school year will prevent the child/parent from receiving the end of year report card until the debt has been corrected.  Debt will roll over to the next school year and will follow the child through their senior year, preventing them from receiving their diploma until the money owed to the school system has been corrected.  If you owe money to the school, please discuss a payment plan option, if necessary, in order to correct this problem.
