Dalton L. McMichael High School is a public school in the Rockingham County Schools district. Students live in the towns of Madison, Mayodan, and Stoneville and the surrounding rural areas in the western section of the county. Major employers in the area include Unifi, Frontier Spinning, McMichael Mills, Bridgestone Aircraft Tires, Remington Arms, Walmart, Lowes, and other retail and service providers. Because we are centrally located between Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC and Martinsville, VA, many parents also commute to work in those cities.
