We ask our students to dress in an appropriate manner for school. Clean, neat, comfortable clothing, which allows your child to participate in all events of school without undue concern, will be most appropriate.

• No obscene, inappropriate, or offensive language or illustrations should appear on clothing. If tattoos depict any of the above, they must be covered.  Appropriate size of student dress and footwear is necessary to maintain a positive and safe school climate.  Any clothing or accessories that endanger the safety of others is prohibited.
  
• Clothing must be age appropriate, must not distract from the learning process, and cannot be provocative, revealing, indecent, or vulgar. 
• No endorsement of illegal products should appear on clothing (drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, and firearms).  No spaghetti strap shirts or blouses should be worn.  No shirts or blouses should be worn that do not cover the midriff area.  No exposed undergarments; pants must be worn at the waist (NO SAGGING PANTS).
  
• No pants with holes above the knees--including patches and frayed spots.
  
• Shorts are to be knee length.
• Skirts and dresses that are not knee length must have leggings under the garment.  Skirts and dresses must be appropriate length if worn alone (knee length).
• Sleepwear is prohibited.
  
• No mesh shirts or tank tops are to be worn.
• No curlers, bandanas, scarves, combs, or hats are to be worn on the head.
• No heavy chains are to be worn around the neck or waist.
• No chains are to be attached to wallets.
• No sunglasses are to be worn on the face or head in the building.
• No bandanas, scarves, or any other paraphernalia are to be worn in a manner to suggest gang affiliation.
• All shirts and tops must be no longer than the top of the leg.
• No body piercings that are visible, except the ears.  You may not cover piercings with band-aids.
