Rockingham County Schools
Board of Education Members
The Rockingham County Board of Education is comprised of eleven members. Six members are elected from districts in Rockingham County and five members are elected at-large from across the County. Members are elected to four-year terms.The superintendent is selected by the board and serves as the chief executive officer of the school system. While the board is responsible for setting policy, the superintendent and his administrative team manage the daily operations of the school system.
