WELCOME TO OUR LIBRARY
Our misssion is to be an integral part of the school and:
*to provide collaboration with staff to create authentic learning for all students
*to provide quality resources and instruction to students and staff
*to assist staff and students in becoming effective users of ideas and information
*to promote life-long reading and learning both for pleasure and for information

LIBRARY POLICIES
CHECKING OUT BOOKS
* Kindergarten and first grade students may check out one book each week.
* Second grade students may check out two books each week.
* Third, fourth, and fifth grade students may check out three books each week.
BOOK CHECK OUT TIMES
All students have a scheduled book exchange time each week.
LOAN PERIOD
Books are checked out for one week. Books can be renewed for one additional week.
OVERDUE FINES
There are no overdue fines for late books. However, children may not borrow any new books until the overdue books are returned.
LOST OR DAMAGED BOOKS
Accidents do happen, but lost or damaged library books must be paid for before children may borrow more library books. The amount to be paid will depend upon the amount of damage to the book, as well as the purchase price of the book.
