Ongoing communication with parents is achieved through our school webpage, a monthly newsletter, and Alert Now messages. We have a school-wide emphasis on setting goals, creating action plans, and measuring results. Draper Elementary is proud of its highly involved and supportive PTO. A successful school volunteer program extends learning opportunities for students. Enrichment programs help students become well-rounded, life-long learners. Students enjoy a warm, friendly, and safe academic environment. Located in the heart of Draper Village, Draper Elementary School provides a quality education for its students. Title I money is used to hold two parent training programs each year. These programs focus on math or reading skills and are designed to help parents work more effectively with their children. One of Draper Elementary's greatest strengths involves the surrounding community. Located within walking distance of the school, Draper Village continuously supports various activities and functions for the school. For example, every year Draper students join with community members to parade down the main street of Draper Village in honor of our veterans. Each October the Draper merchants support a Halloween trick-or-treating event and hayride for the students. The merchants also donate time and money to hep fund after-school programs, the yearbook, and various other activities. Draper Elementary School has served the community for decades and continues to be a driving force in the Rockingham County Education Program. Through our cutting-edge use of technology, community support, and caring staff, Draper Elementary School provides our students with a firm foundation in education, preparing our students to become the leaders of tomorrow.
