Check back for updates about what the Monroeton Mustangs are doing this year!!!
On Thursday, October 27 Monroeton celebrated Halloween with the annual Trunk-or-Treat sponsored by the PTA. Check out the pictures below.
Students had to research how to build the rocket. This proved to be an excellent learning experience that involved research, informational reading, math, and science. Problem solving was certainly required. I was extremely pleased with how much the students learned from unsuccessful launches and how they handled it. They simply decided to learn from their peers and also conduct additional research and then build another rocket. They truly conducted themselves like young scientists!
