• Public Information Requests


    Rockingham County Schools believes that transparency leads to public trust. Students, parents, employees, and the public have the right to request and inspect all public records available to them under state law. 


    Records available to the public are governed by two state laws:

    General Statue Chapter 132 (PDF) outlines the records available to the public.

    General Statute Chapter 115C - Article 21A (PDF) outlines the employee information that is available to the public.


    There are some exemptions to the public records law. Some individual student information, for example, is not available to the public. Please call the Public Information Office at 336.627.2602 if you have any questions.
