    GOING GLOBAL!  - September 11, 2014
Students from Ms. Marion Hester’s 6th grade ELA class are excited about a new global adventure.  They are being paired as pen pals with students from Tabaka Academy in Tabaka- Kisii County, Kenya.  In preparation for their first contacts with their new pen pals next week, school librarian, Allison Wright, read 14 Cows for America by Carmen Agra Deedy. This book tells the true story of the gift of 14 cows to the American people by a small Kenyan village as a gesture of hope and healing after the events of September 11, 2001

    SCIENCE - September 18, 2014
Mr. Madison's 7th grade science class experimented with air pressure. By heating the water in the can, the water turned into water vapor which pushed the air out of the can. While this chemical change happens, students then placed the mouth of the can into cold water. This created a vacuum, therefore the pressure imploded the outside of the can.
