PPEERS - Principal Preparation for Excellence and Equity in Rural Schools
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has partnered with 11 rural districts in the Piedmont area of North Carolina to develop a pipeline for school based administrators in these rural districts. UNCG recognizes that rural districts have unique challenges in recruiting and retaining quality candidates due to the lure of bigger districts. As a result, UNCG is offering a 2-year tuition free program leading to a Master of School Administration with a second year paid internship.
PPEERS Website contains an overview of all components of the program.
