Moss Street Elementary is a fully accredited K-5 school. During the 2008-2009 school year, our school participated in the accreditation process through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. The accreditation process is a year-long reflective process of self-evaluation and improvement that is used to determine the school's capacity for governance and continuous improvement. A SACS team visited our campus for the two-day review, which was held April 23-24, 2009. The review panel interviewed students, staff, and stakeholders, and observed the daily processes and procedures of the school.
