Lady's Golf Repeats State Championship at Long Leaf in Pinehurst

Congratulations to our Women’s Golf Team and Coach Mike Williams for winning their second straight 3A State Championship at Long Leaf in Pinehurst yesterday.  Hailey Joy, Olivia John, and Victoria Cook combined for a two day 36 hole total of +71 to beat their closest competitor Burlington Williams by 25 strokes.  Hailey finished 4th individually with a two score of 151.  Olivia finished 10th with a score of 165, and Victoria finished 31st with a two day score of 187.  Winning two back to back state championships is rare and is a testament to the hours of hard work and sacrifice these special young ladies have put into their sport.  Coach Williams, Rockingham County High School, and the RCHS Community are very proud of your accomplishment.
