Instructional Approach at the SCORE Center

Students at the SCORE Center receive instruction in small group settings. The curriculum is delivered through a variety of methods, including:

• Direct instruction in small groups

• Cooperative learning activities

• Online instruction using the Edgenuity learning platform

Students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) receive services as outlined in their IEPs. Support is provided through either:

• Inclusion within general education classrooms, or

• Specialized instruction in Exceptional Children (EC) classrooms, depending on individual needs.
