Holmes Middle School is the second largest middle school in Rockingham County.  Holmes has 66 certified teachers, four Teaching Assistants, two Guidance Department Staff, and a Media Specialist.  Thirty-seven percent of HMS teachers have earned Graduate and Post-Graduate degrees. The school has seven National Board Certified teachers.
