Rockingham County Schools pairs with Rockingham County Public Libraries to help students check out library materials. This is available at all Rockingham County Public Libraries and the Bookmobile. You will need your child's student ID/lunch number for check out.
This is a great way to find a variety of books for your child to enjoy.


Due to the heavy rainfall, localized flooding and isolated road closures, Rockingham County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, September 18th, Staff are to report at normal time, unless unsafe to do so.


Reading Log Reminder:
All reading logs with 35 books read are due to your child’s teacher by Friday, October 25th. To be able to participate in this incentive, your child must have a reading log turned in by the due date.
Incentive on November 1st: Bring Your Own Tech Day/Board Game Day


Thank you all so much for your support throughout this week for our Book Fair.
Remaining family shop hours are tonight from 5:00-7:00 and Friday morning from 7:20-7:45.
Your child will have one more opportunity on Friday to shop during their grade level time if they bring money. The book fair will close at 11:20 for clean up.


Parents are invited to hear about Monroeton's Battle of the Books program. The meeting will be in the media center beginning at 3:15.
