Schools are closed for students on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. School will reopen on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Good afternoon to the Rockingham Early College High School family. I want to remind everyone who signed up for Driver Ed. that the classes start tomorrow on March 23. Be in the Mezzanine promptly at 3:00 and the class is until 6:00 each day.
Due to the school closing this past Monday, the high school Battle of the Books Rematch will be on Monday, March 23 at BTWLC at 9:30. All participants must have signed permission slips and should be at the flag pole at 8:30 to catch the bus.
Information regarding the prom is available in the office for junior and senior students. There are, also, the required form for a student wishing to invite someone from another school to be their escort. The prom is April 17 at Hodges Barn in Ruffin, NC.
Third quarter report cards will go home on Thursday, March 26. The fourth quarter started this past Wednesday and students are encouraged to remain diligent with their school work. Things get very busy in the spring and it’s sometimes easy to get distracted. The teachers and other staff members are available for assistance, should the student begin to struggle or get behind.
As always, should you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
Enjoy the upcoming week.
Nancy Towler, Interim Principal
