What is PBIS? PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. It is a schoolwide approach that focuses on preventing behavior issues before they happen. This is achieved by clearly teaching expected behaviors and recognizing students when they demonstrate them. PBIS is an evidence-based framework designed to support students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success. To learn more, visit pbis.org.
