Title I Activities

As a Title I school, Stoneville receives additional federal funding to enhance instructional support for our students. This funding allows us to purchase valuable programs, instructional tools, and resources, as well as hire additional staff to help tailor instruction to meet individual needs. We will provide small group environments during targeted instructional times, such as guided reading, math stations, and Intervention and Enrichment periods. We are also continuing to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) throughout the school to address behavioral, academic, attendance, and social concerns. Mrs. Michelle Hernandez is our Title I coordinator, and we look forward to the engaging events she will organize.

Here are some of the Title I Activities that take place a Stoneville Elementary:

  • Open House

  • Pastries with Parents/Title I Advisory Meeting

  • Donuts with Grown Ups/Classroom Observations

  • Title I Literacy Night (K-1 Program)

  • Title I Math and Science Night (2-3 Program)

  • Title I Testing Strategies Night (4-5 Program)
