About CTE Innovation High School
We are proud to be North Carolina’s first Career and Technical Education (CTE) Innovation High School. Located on the campus of Rockingham Community College, we were created through a strong partnership between Rockingham County Schools and Rockingham Community College to give students meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that lead directly to future careers.
Our students earn their high school diploma while exploring high-demand career pathways in manufacturing, construction, and health care. Through small class sizes and personalized instruction, we provide an environment where students are known, supported, and challenged. Along the way, students have opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials and postsecondary certificates—and in later years, work toward an associate degree.
Supported by the Golden LEAF Foundation and Workforce Initiative Funds, our school bridges education and workforce development, empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in college, careers, and beyond.
