Report card pick up night Wednesday October 21st! Parents who attend will be able to pick up their child’s report card 6 days early when you conference with the teacher. Please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule the conference.
Our school-wide "100 Days of Reading and Math Success" has begun!
Here's how it works: HES students set a 100 day goal of reading and math, including stretch goals to aim for. Resources and a goal sheet have been sent home with students. Once the goals are completed, turn into Teacher. Your child's will get to sign the "Sweet Success" hallway banners! Learning is such sweet success!

The RCS Board of Education recognized our schools meeting academic growth for the 2023-2024 school year: Bethany Elementary, Central Elementary, Douglass Elementary, Huntsville Elementary, Rockingham County Middle & High, McMichael High & Rockingham Early College High!!
RCS would like to welcome Deputy Collins as our new SRO at Huntsville Elementary. Looks like she is making a great impression with the students in PE class!!
Huntsville Elementary was leaving gingerbread crumbs to help kindergartners become familiar with their new school. Today they kept looking for the gingerbread man who finally made an appearance to their delight!
