Game starts at 4:00 p.m. Remember if you are planning on staying after school for any home game that you must turn in a game permission form by 10:00 a.m. the day of the game to either your core 1 teacher or the front office. If you decide to leave school and come back to the game, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You cannot be dropped off at the game without supervision. Game Permission Form

End of Grade Testing Schedule End-of-Grade Testing Schedule Please see the upcoming testing dates below: May 23 – 8th Grade Science May 28 – 6th & 8th Grade ELA May 29 – 7th Grade ELA May 30 – 6th & 8th Grade Math June 2 – 7th Grade Math June 3–4 – Make-up Testing (as needed) While it hasn’t been a major issue, we have noticed some early student check-outs on testing days. During End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments, early check-outs cannot be accommodated. We kindly ask that families avoid scheduling appointments or early dismissals before noon on testing days to ensure students have the time and focus needed to complete their assessments. Your support in helping us maintain a smooth and uninterrupted testing environment is greatly appreciated. Our students also did a GREAT job with turning in their cell phones so that we avoided any testing mishaps. Thank you for your support in this area! Thank you for your cooperation!

Us 185 announcement - remember to use the app to track the bus! Bus 185 Good morning Mustang families I hope that you are all doing well. I wanted to let you know that bus 185 has been involved in an accident and will be significantly late. So if you could get your students a ride to school that would be great. Thankfully, everybody is OK. No one was hurt but again if you can get your student a ride to school, please do that. We are looking at an hour or more. If you start the class and drop out or if you are asked to leave for behavioral reasons, you will not be allowed to sign up for the next session of classes offered, and another payment is required to enroll in a later class. Checks should be made payable to Morehead High with the student’s name on the memo line. The cost of the class is $40.

This immunization requirement is due NO LATER than September 23, 2025. Please make plans for your child to obtain these immunizations this summer by contacting your child's health care provider or the Rockingham County Health Department. Also, discuss with your healthcare provider the other recommended adolescent immunizations that may benefit your student. Once completed, please submit the record to school.
