Welcome Mr. Hodges to Holmes!
My name is Mike Hodges, this coming school year will be my 18th year in education. I graduated from Averett University in 2007 and began teaching elementary PE in Danville VA in 2008. After three years there, I moved to Morehead and was a teacher there for 12 years while coaching football, track, and golf. I graduated from UNCW in 2023 with my Masters in Administration and have spent the past two years serving as the Assistant Principal at Williamsburg Elementary. I'm grateful for the opportunity to join the Holmes team and as a citizen of Eden I'm excited to get back to serving my home community. I look forward to meeting you all and working alongside you.

Are you a mathematical teaching wizard? Come join us at HMS!!

Retesting Thursday and Friday
Hello Parents!
If your child attended remediation Monday-Wednesday, your child is eligible for retesting beginning tomorrow.
Doors will open for students at 7:45 to get breakfast and we will begin testing as close to 8:45 as possible.
Once we have completed testing, your child will have the option to call for a ride to come pick them up.
If your child needs to take both tests, we will see your child again on Friday. Students that only have one test to complete will not need to return on Friday.

We also have free meals for anyone under the age of 18 available at Morehead High School.

Check out the times & locations - free meals are available to anyone 18 and under!
