It's the busiest time of year at the schools! We are working hard to review and reteach and engage our students to do their very best! We have a schedule of events for each grade level. Please save the image so you don't miss any special dates!

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS *SEE ATTACHED FLYER Attention Rising 7th Grade student: All North Carolina 7th grade students are required to obtain the TDaP and meningococcal vaccines. This immunization requirement is due NO LATER than September 23, 2025. Please make plans for your child to obtain these immunizations this summer by contacting your child's health care provider or the Rockingham County Health Department. Also, discuss with your healthcare provider the other recommended adolescent immunizations that may benefit your student. Once completed, please submit the record to school. For questions, please contact your school nurse.

Retesting Thursday and Friday Hello Parents! If your child attended remediation Monday-Wednesday, your child is eligible for retesting beginning tomorrow. Doors will open for students at 7:45 to get breakfast and we will begin testing as close to 8:45 as possible. Once we have completed testing, your child will have the option to call for a ride to come pick them up. If your child needs to take both tests, we will see your child again on Friday. Students that only have one test to complete will not need to return on Friday.

We also have free meals for anyone under the age of 18 available at Morehead High School.

Friday Update Holmes Middle School Community, This afternoon, our school experienced a medical emergency. We are incredibly grateful for the swift and professional response of our on-site team and the Eden EMS personnel who arrived promptly and provided appropriate care. Testing was completed as scheduled, and instruction continued with minimal disruption. We appreciate your continued support and understanding. ⛳🏆 Congrats to our BACK-TO-BACK Mustang Golf Conference Champs! 🐎💪 Way to swing for success, Mustangs! 💥👏 #ChampionsAgain #MustangPride 💚💛HMS golf team won their match yesterday at Oak Hills. They are also Conference champions for the season. For the season Griffin Houchins and Easton Hopper tied for first place, Ethan Lackey finished 5th, and Owen Brooks finished 6th. WAY TO GO MUSTANGS!
