Tia Scales in J E Holmes Middle School May 31 Weekly Update for the Week of May 25, 2026 Good evening, Mustang Families! This is Ms. Scales with your weekly message. We will have retesting this week. Our plan is to have 6th and 7th grade Math and 8th grade Science retesting on Monday, 6th, 7th and 8th grade ELA retesting on Tuesday and 8th grade Math retesting on Wednesday. Please help ensure that students get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time for their retesting session. Our End-of-Year Floating Awards Program for 6th, 7th and 8th grades will be held on Tuesday, June 2 starting at 4:30pm to 6:00pm. Our 8th Grade Promotion Program will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 9:30am in the MHS Auditorium. The last day of school is Thursday, June 4 and it is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm. If your child is a car rider, please be sure their ride is here at 1:30 pm. Report cards and all other student belongings will be sent home with all students Thursday, June 4. As we wrap up another school year, I want to thank all of our parents and guardians for your support and partnership throughout the year.
