I am honored to be your Principal at Moss Street Elementary. supporting our students in their educational journey and I look forward to  partnering with your community to provide the very best for each of our students.  It is our goal to provide the best education possible for all of our students by providing resources, being supportive, collaborating with our stakeholders, providing quality instruction and giving you our best everyday. Thank you for partnering with us on this mission.

During my career in education I have had the pleasure of serving as a classroom teacher in grades 1-5 for 11 years, serving as an Instructional Coach, serving as an Assistant Principal and Principal. My professional education includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UNCG, a Masters in Reading Education (grades k-12) from Appalachian State University, a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University and a Master's add-on licensure from Gardner Webb University.

I believe that all children can learn and grow. At our school, teachers will put the needs of students first and be committed to  helping each child reach their full potential. On a personal note, I am married and have 4 young children. I am involved in church and love my pets, shopping, spending time with family and reading.
