Principal: Tameka Goods
Mrs. Tameka Goods was born and raised in Reidsville, North Carolina and is a proud alumnus of Reidsville High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master’s Degree from North Carolina A&T State University. She also holds a Post-Administration License from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The 2025-2026 school year marks Mrs. Goods’ 22nd year in public education. Throughout her career, she has served in multiple capacities, including elementary teacher and instructional coach at Lawsonville Avenue Elementary, instructional coach at Moss Street Elementary, curriculum facilitator at Wiley Elementary in Guilford County and assistant principal at Monroeton Elementary, Wentworth Elementary and South End Elementary School.
Mrs. Goods is married and the proud mother of three boys. She has two bonus sons, one serving in the U.S. Air Force and another attending Virginia Tech, while her youngest son is a student at South End Elementary. Beyond her work in education, she is the founder of the S&K Preemie Love Foundation, established in memory of her twin daughters who passed away prematurely. The foundation’s motto, “Keeping Dreams & Aspirations Alive,” reflects the hope and purpose she carries into all aspects of her life and leadership.
“I have a passion for helping students and staff grow and reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally,” Mrs. Goods shares. “My vision is to keep students first while fostering a caring, welcoming and safe environment for all. My goal is to build and sustain meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents to ensure that every child has the tools, confidence and support needed to succeed — not only in school, but in life.”
