PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports)

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide approach that helps create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students. It focuses on teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors through clear expectations and consistent support. PBIS helps students build strong social and academic skills that contribute to success in school and beyond

PBIS Motto

At our school, students follow our ROAR motto each day:

  • Respect everyone

  • Observe safety

  • Actively listen and learn

  • Remember responsibility.

These shared expectations are taught, practiced, and reinforced throughout the school day to help every student succeed.

Williamsburg Wildcats love to ROAR! The ROAR motto posters are displayed throughout the school, and students recite the motto statements during the daily news.
