Bookkeeper - Taylor Murray

Taylor Murray is a dedicated member of the Douglass school community, where she has served in her role for nearly four years, beginning in March 2026. Originally from Eden, North Carolina, Taylor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University, providing a strong foundation for her work in school finance and operations.

Taylor brings a diverse professional background to Douglass, having previously worked as a Trade/Sales Manager for LEVOLOR in Atlanta, Georgia. She later served as an Office Manager for both a machine shop and an acquisition company, experiences that strengthened her organizational, financial, and leadership skills.

At Douglass, Taylor manages all financial operations for the school, including teacher purchases, grant-funded allocations, field trip payments, and fundraising activities. Known for her versatility and willingness to support wherever needed, she often takes on additional roles throughout the school day, assisting with responsibilities beyond her primary duties to ensure the school runs smoothly.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys reading—particularly romance novels—and spending time on creative hobbies such as needlepoint and cross-stitch. She lives on a farm where she raises cows, honey bees, and chickens, a fun fact that reflects her appreciation for hard work, creativity, and community.
