Our Nation's 250th Birthday is being celebrated all year, so let's have some fun! Courtesy of the NC Dept. of Natural and Cultural Resources and America 250 Rockingham County, kids all across NC can participate in "Flat Cornelius!" Students can pick up a picture of Cornelius Harnett from the Huntsville Library, color, cut out and take Cornelius Harnett on their travels. This important Revolutionary Figure from NC advocated for Independence from England in 1776.
Directions:
1. Pick up Cornelius Harnett paper in the Library.
2. Color and cut out
2. TAKE HIM WITH YOU WHEN YOU TRAVEL IN ROCKINGHAM County AND BEYOND! Take a pic!
3. Parents can post on social media, tag @America250NC and hashtag #FlatCornelius
4. Dojo or email Mrs. Foley and your child can pick a prize! crfoley@rock.k12.nc.us
