Instructional Approach at Booker T. Washington Learning Center
Students at Booker T. Washington Learning Center receive instruction in small group settings. The curriculum is delivered through a variety of methods, including:
Direct instruction in small groups
Cooperative learning activities
Online instruction using the Edgenuity learning platform
Students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) receive services as outlined in their IEPs. Support is provided through either:
Inclusion within general education classrooms, or
Specialized instruction in Exceptional Children (EC) classrooms, depending on individual needs.
