Lincoln Elementary School Principal-Jennifer Poe
Principal Jennifer Poe is proud to serve the Lincoln Elementary community and is currently completing her 25th year in education. She began her career with Guilford County Schools, where she spent 15 years teaching students in grades 1 through 4. During that time, she earned National Board Certification and was recognized as Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2001 and Teacher of the Year in 2016.
Mrs. Poe later served as an Instructional Coach before moving into school leadership, where she has dedicated the past 10 years as an Assistant Principal and Principal. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K–6) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2001 and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from High Point University in 2016.
In March 2024, Mrs. Poe joined Lincoln Elementary as Principal after serving as Assistant Principal at Bethany Elementary. She is a passionate advocate for both students and teachers, deeply committed to fostering a love of teaching and learning while ensuring every child receives the highest quality education. A proud Lincoln Gator, Mrs. Poe looks forward to serving and supporting the students, staff, and families of Lincoln Elementary each day.
