The RCS Board of Education has accepted two draft calendars for public comment for the 2025-2026 school year. Our Dear RCMS family & community,
We are so excited to continue this wonderful program at our school. Every year we see students who wish they could afford to have a yearbook like so many of their peers. Our goal is to help provide these memories for our students in need. Last year, with your support, we were able to purchase 43 extra copies of the yearbook. You have no idea the impact that made on our school!
Become a yearbook angel - donate $10 (silver angel), $20 (gold angel), or $40 (platinum angel) and we will recognize your generosity in this year’s book. The students in need will receive a book purchased by our donors. They will receive these like all the other students and no one will ever know who these recipients are.

Due to lingering snow and ice on roads and neighborhoods, RCS will have a remote learning day for students tomorrow, January 13th. All RCS buildings will open at 10:00 am. Updates to the school calendar for the remainder of January will be shared soon.

*School Closure Due to Inclement Weather*
Due to inclement weather, Rockingham County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, January 7, 2025. Childcare services will be available at 12pm and close at the normal scheduled time. All school activities can take place between 2:30-5:00 pm. There will be no school activities permitted after 5 pm.
