​Meeting time & Location: Lab 306

Purpose: VEX Robotics teaches students how to effectively communicate ideas, builds problem solving skills, and teaches students to work in teams to reach a common goal.

Activities: VEX engages students in hands on building and coding of robots.  Members compete in the VEX Robotics Competitions held throughout the state.

Competitions:

  • Regional: Teams compete in various NC cities to qualify for the NC State Championship

  • State: Qualified robot teams compete to see who will be the state champions

  • World: Robots from all over the globe compete to see who is the best of the best
