Due to the closing tomorrow, next Monday, March 23rd will no longer be a teacher workday and will now be a regular school day for students.

Good evening Lincoln families! This is Principal Poe with several reminders for the week ahead. We will have another fun, holiday spirit week this week to countdown to winter break. Participation is optional. Monday is elf or reindeer day. Tuesday is red & green day. Wednesday is Christmas tree day. On Thursday, students are encouraged to wear holiday hats or headbands. We will wrap up our spirit week on Friday with ugly or festive holiday sweaters or shirts. Good News Club will meet tomorrow after school. Friday, December 20th is an Early Release Day. School will dismiss at 12:45pm on Friday. Please arrive on time to pick up car riders on the early release day and adjust schedules to receive bus riders at the bus stops two hours earlier than normal on Friday afternoon. There will be no school December 23rd-January 3rd. I hope you all have a wonderful winter break. Students return to school Monday, January 6th. Second-grade gators have been having a blast learning all about the life cycles of different animals in Science class. This week, they got to witness the magical moment when their classroom eggs hatched, and now they have adorable baby chicks! So exciting! 🐣










Lincoln Elementary School PTA is selling Gator Spirit Wear! :) This fundraiser begins on Monday! Your child should come home with an order form in their
folder on Monday afternoon! Orders are due NO LATER THAN November 15 and will be back before Christmas break! It's a perfect gift for Christmas :)

Happy National Custodian Day to our amazing Gator Custodians: Betty Jo, Marcy, and Marketta! These extraordinary ladies keep our school squeaky clean and are always ready to lend a helping hand. Thank you so much for everything you do for the students and staff at Lincoln!

Our 5th graders just finished a Wonders reading story and had a blast practicing the vocabulary words associated with it. We also had a lively debate about the impact of sports on schoolwork. The kids did some research and came up with some awesome rebuttals. It was a ton of fun!





Our fabulous 3rd-grade Gators dove into entrepreneurship with Kona Ice yesterday! They had a blast learning about supply and demand and what it takes to start a Kona business. Not only did they get to ask questions, but they also got to treat themselves to some refreshing Kona Ice on a hot day!


Good evening Lincoln families! This is Mrs. Poe with announcements for the week ahead. We kicked-off our Cookie Dough Fundraiser last week. The last day of the fundraiser will be Oct. 8th. Parents of car riders, please come through the car rider line and drop students off at the gym doors each morning. We have adults stationed at the car line drop off to assist students. Refrain from parking in the staff lot and walking students over to the gym door as it can be a safety issue due to high traffic volume. Good News Club will meet after school tomorrow, Sept. 23rd. Tuesday, Sept. 24th is mum delivery and pick-up day. You may pick up your mum orders between 2-6pm Tuesday. Due to the mum pick up at the gym, we will dismiss car riders from the front entrance of the school Tuesday. Teachers will be sending home Interim Progress Reports Thursday, Sept. 26th. If you have any questions regarding your child's progress, please reach out to your child's teacher. Friday, Sept. 27th is an Early Release Day. School will dismiss at 12:45pm Friday.
