What is PBIS?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. It is a schoolwide approach that focuses on preventing behavior issues before they happen. This is achieved by clearly teaching expected behaviors and recognizing students when they demonstrate them. PBIS is an evidence-based framework designed to support students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success. To learn more, visit pbis.org.

PBIS Fair
This schoolwide event gives students the opportunity to learn expectations for different areas of the building. As they rotate through locations such as the hallway, cafeteria, bathroom, and playground, they discuss what is expected in each space.
