The choir and band programs are in the middle of their fundraiser and had a "dunk tank day" for the students who met their first fundraising goal! Mr Williams may not have been expecting such precise throws from his students!

Last week was Sandy Hook Promise's National "Start with Hello" week, and we participated here at RCMS! Our SAVE Promise club sponsored a spirit week and on Tuesday, we did a Photo Booth in the cafeteria during lunch. Our yearbook staff took photos of students with some fun props to promote inclusion and connection!

Dolly Parton day was so much fun!

Our students embraced their country glam side, raised money for the Imagination Library AND - our favorite thing - spent some time reading for fun!

Shout out to Ms. Bayne - our awesome guidance secretary - for always bringing the school spirit and positivity! Happy Friday!

We are close to meeting our Fundraising GOAL and the students are getting excited! Congrats to these winners so far throughout the week!

Your student still has time to earn VIP ducks, VIP rewards, attend the Rockstar foam party and earn a trip to urban air. Our sale doesn’t end till next Wednesday, September 16 so there’s still plenty of time to raise money for our school and earn awards for your student!

Our school code is 42084.

Thanks for your support and help!

Let's pack the stands for our first HOME FOOTBALL GAME!

RCMS CHROMEBOOK INFORMATION

Every student is issued a Chromebook to use during the school day. This device STAYS AT SCHOOL. Your child should never bring their school-issued Chromebook home. These devices are not insured to travel home.

If you need a device at home, we have a Chromebook rental available for $30. This is a separate device issued to your student that stays at home for the entire school year. If you are interested in this, please have your student ask their homeroom teacher for the rental agreement paperwork or stop by the library to pick this up.

Any questions - feel free to email Ms. Brown at bbrown3@rock.k12.nc.us

We LOVED seeing all of you today at OPEN HOUSE! We are excited for another great a school year!

This past Saturday, RCMS was a ServeNC site and we welcomed wonderful people to our campus who helped us to count and deliver workbooks (over 5,000 total) to our English Language Arts (ELA) classrooms. What a blessing!

Thank you to Life Community Church in Jamestown for serving our sweet school!
