Reidsville High has several clubs and activities for students. We encourage as many students as possible to participate in school-sponsored activities.

Drama Club
Club Advisor: George Murphy
The Reidsville High School Drama Club exists to help inspire, develop, and empower students to be the best versions of themselves they can be by experiencing the human condition, participating in a community, working with their hands, and learning to maintain and appreciate what they have here at Reidsville High School. The Drama Club meets on the stage in the theater most days of the week during rehearsals from 3:35 PM to 5:30 PM and, in the Spring, from 3:35 PM to 6 PM. You need no experience, nor an understanding or love of theatre, to join. Your fellow members and Mr. Murphy will provide training. Welcome to the theatre!

Spanish Club
Club Advisor: Karen Garay
The Spanish Club is a vibrant space where students can share and value diverse cultures. It offers an opportunity to learn not just the language, but also Hispanic customs, perspectives, and traditions. The club promotes a prejudice-free environment that appreciates inclusion and celebrates cultural and racial diversity.

High School Band
Band Director: Eric Callands
The Marching Rams: An electrifying ensemble delivering crowd-pleasing performances through a repertoire of familiar favorites. Comprising the dynamic Golden Groove Drumline, the spirited Ram Delights Dance Team, and the captivating Ram Sensations Flag Team, the Marching Rams provide unforgettable entertainment, embodying school spirit and musical excellence.

Academic Challenge Competition
Club Advisor: Ms. Shannon Boyd
ACC is "an extra-curricular activity that provides an arena for the application of knowledge. Its aim is to promote academic excellence and integrity through friendly competition and mutual respect." It is a group of students who compete academically against students from other high schools in Rockingham County. We have matches 5 times a year, 3 in the fall, and 2 in the spring. There are five areas of competition: Science, Math, English, Social Studies, and All-around. Points are awarded, and prizes are given at a spring banquet.

Battle of the Books
Club Advisors: Shannon Boyd and Whitney Chrisco
Students at participating schools read books selected by the NCSLMA (North Carolina School Library Association), then compete in quiz bowl-style tournaments to test their knowledge of those books.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Club Advisor: Erik Teague and Marc Tuttle
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives... one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

Student Government Association
Club Advisor: Tavia Clemendor
This group of students are charged with managing a wide range of events, activities, programs, policies and initiatives around school. Members are elected by the student body.

National Honor Society
Club Advisors: Mary Williamson, Shannon Boyd, Tamra Wells, Laura Aldridge, and Marissa Blackwell
NHS is the frontrunner among organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Thousands of schools are chartered.
College admissions officers often regard Honor Society membership as a valid indicator of an applicant's success at the postsecondary level.

BETA Club
Club Advisor: Shelly Jenkins
America's largest independent youth organization focused on Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service, helping students grow through academic recognition, leadership opportunities, community service, and fostering ethical development, with goals to "Lead by Serving Others." BETA recognizes students who excel academically while embodying strong moral character, preparing them for future success.

International Thespian Society
Club Advisor: George Murphy
Much like the National Honor Society, the International Thespian Society is an organization for students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to practicing, participating in, and crafting theatrical performances. Students are brought into this prestigious organization when a minimum of 10 theatre hours has been met, and they receive their invitation to be inducted. Yearbook
Club Advisor: Shannon Boyd
Students must apply to work on the school yearbook. The class works on completing writing and photography activities, team-building activities, and fundraising by selling ads to local businesses and yearbooks to the student body. Students receive course credit.

Junior Marshals
Club Advisor: Katelyn Mitchell
Junior Marshals are the top 15 students in the junior class, ranked by weighted GPA. They work as ambassadors for the school at several events throughout the year and serve as hosts at Baccalaureate and Graduation. The Chief Marshal is the student ranked number 1 in their class at the end of the sophomore year.
