July 14th RCS Board Recognition

The RCS Board of Education at the July 14th meeting recognized Reidsville High School students for their success in academics as well as in athletics. Reidsville High School student Jacob Chase Perkins was recognized for his outstanding academic achievements and was recognized as the RHS Class of 2025 SalutatorianGrady Barrett was also recognized for his outstanding academic achievements and earned the title of RHS Class of 2025 Valedictorian. We are extremely proud of both Grady and Jake and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

The Reidsville Men's Basketball Team was also recognized by the Board for their success and winning of yet another state championship. The basketball team played in a total of three consecutive state championship games. won back to back state basketball championships and maintained an 86-1 record over a three year period. RHS Men's basketball team finished the season ranked #21 in the nation according to MaxPreps.

Dionte Neal was also recognized for his accomplishments as Gatorade 2025 North Carolina Player of the Year along with MaxPreps 2025 North Carolina Player of the Year. Greensboro News and Record Player of the Year 2025 (He also won this in 2023). 2025 First Team All State North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association, 2025 High School OT Basketball Player of the Year, 2025 Mid- State 2A Conference Player of the Year and in 2025 Led the State of North Carolina High School Basketball with Assists.

The RAMS are on the move and we are Academics before Athletics and it is who we are!!
