Athletics

Reidsville Middle School has a variety of sports programs. Sixth, seventh and eighth graders participating in these programs develop numerous skills such as: 

• Cognitive - or intellectual skills that require thought processes

• Perceptual - interpretation of presented information

• Motor - movement and muscle control

• Perceptual motor - involves the through, interpretation and movement skills

• Sportsmanship - fairness, ethics, respect, and fellowship with other teams

• Teamwork - work performed by a team with a common goal
