Dear Rockingham County Schools Families, Students, Staff, and Community Members,

It is with tremendous gratitude, humility, and excitement that I begin serving as the Superintendent of Rockingham County Schools. Having spent my entire career in public education right here in Rockingham County, this opportunity is both professionally rewarding and deeply personal.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving our district in many roles—as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, director, and assistant superintendent. Each position has given me a unique perspective on the work we do every day and has strengthened my appreciation for the dedication of our educators, staff, students, families, and community. I have been fortunate to learn from outstanding colleagues, celebrate the successes of our students, and witness firsthand the impact that strong schools have on our community.

Rockingham County is more than the place where I have worked—it is the community that has shaped my career and my commitment to public education. Because of that, I understand both the traditions that have made our district strong and the opportunities that lie ahead. I am honored to continue serving a school system that has given me so much throughout my career.

I firmly believe that every student deserves a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where they are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. As superintendent, my commitment is to ensure that every decision we make is centered on what is best for students while supporting the exceptional teachers, administrators, and staff members who make that success possible.

Strong schools are built through meaningful partnerships among educators, families, businesses, faith communities, and local organizations. I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside each of you as we continue to build on the strong foundation that already exists throughout our district.
