Mr. Brandon Reaves, a native of Mullins, South Carolina, is a passionate educator and leader with nearly a decade of experience in Guilford County Schools. Throughout his career, he has taken on and demonstrated success in several roles, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and key member of the school leadership team. He was recognized as Teacher of the Year for two consecutive years, highlighting his dedication, teaching skills, and ability to connect with scholars and staff. Mr. Reaves is known for putting scholars at the center of his work, using data to guide decisions, and focusing on equity to help close achievement gaps.
Mr. Reaves earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science, Fitness, and Management and a Master’s in Elementary Education from North Carolina A&T State University, as well as a Master’s in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. With a solid background in leadership and a strong belief in equity for all scholars, Mr. Reaves is committed to empowering educators, helping scholars thrive, and raising the bar for academic success in every school he serves.
