Please be advised that the Rockingham County Board of Education approved revisions to the 2026 Board of Education Meeting Schedule at its meeting on July 13, 2026.

Beginning in August 2026, the Board of Education will meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Please note the following exceptions to the schedule:

• The September Work Session will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. This adjustment was made due to the Teacher of the Year Banquet scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

• The November Board of Education meeting will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. This adjustment was made due to the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) Annual Conference scheduled for November 9–11, 2026.
