Think of it as almost like a scavenger hunt with books. RoCo Reading Trail is a newer initiative in the school district aimed at getting kids out in their communities and picking up a good book. However, there can't be a scavenger hunt without places to go. That's where Rockingham County Schools needs your help.

We're looking for businesses to participate as "stops" along the "trail." The initiative began this Summer, and all of the businesses that took part reported an increase in foot traffic. So if you want to not only see an influx of customers but also encourage families to read together, this is a wonderful opportunity to do both!

At each location, families will find books to pick up for free. There are children's books for elementary students and graphic novels for late elementary and middle school students. They'll have a RoCo Trail Tracker that employees will stamp to show where they've been.

With the upcoming winter trail, we're excited to announce another new initiative -- THE 10 MILLION BOOK PROJECT. So what better time than now to be a part of the "trail?"
