Rockingham County High School Chapter of the Future Farmers of America was recognized for receiving the National Chapter Award ranking Silver at the State Convention. A team of 4 FFA students placed 3rd in the state out of 90 teams and 3 members ranked in the top 20 out of 360!

Members of the Rockingham High School JROTC joined Sheriff Page, members of the RCSO Honor Guard and other distinguished guests at the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. We will never forget!

On this day, we pause to reflect on the events of September 11, 2001 - a day that forever changed our nation. Today, we honor their memory and the resilience that defines us. Let us continue to stand united, supporting one another in the spirit of hope and compassion.

The Pride of Morehead Band has been invited once again to be featured in the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve parade. It will be the Band's fourth consecutive appearance in the event!

Huntsville Elementary was leaving gingerbread crumbs to help kindergartners become familiar with their new school. Today they kept looking for the gingerbread man who finally made an appearance to their delight!

RCS would like to welcome Deputy Collins as our new SRO at Huntsville Elementary. Looks like she is making a great impression with the students in PE class!!

RCS has enjoyed welcoming our students and families back to our schools for another great school year!
