Register to attend the Future Teachers of North Carolina: Eastern Symposium – a FREE, three-day event that will be hosted on NC State’s campus May 18-20. Students will stay in residential halls on NC State’s campus for two nights and visit local attractions while also learning more about what it takes to be a teacher and how to become one. McMichael High School members of the Technology Student Association visited Appalachian State University on Feb. 21st for the TSA Western Region Conference. Students competed in a variety of events with all members present winning either Bronze, Silver, or Gold for their respective events. Next the students will attend the NC TSA State Conference, April 3rd-5th in hopes to qualify for the National TSA Conference this summer in Nashville TN.

The RCS Board of Education recognized Michelle Witt being recognized with the Junior Tennis Council Award Given In Honor of John Peddycord! This award recognizes the person who, through their efforts, has made the greatest contribution to junior tennis in NC!

The RCS Board of Education recognized Ms. Thompson and three of her students from Morehead High School for being 2024 Adobe Certified Professional Fall Qualifiers after winning 1st place in North Carolina!. This outstanding achievement has earned them a place in Certiport’s 2025 Adobe Certified Professional U.S. National Championship which will take place June 16-18 in Dallas, Texas!!
