Congratulations to our RHS boys basketball team for winning the 2A State Championship. The Rams have won 6 basketball championships including two straight and have a 60 game winning streak that will carry forward to next season! Congrats to Coach Ross and our student-athletes!

Registration for the Head Start 2025-2026 school year is in progress. Interested families can goto https://www.rock.k12.nc.us/page/head-start-program and fill out an application online. An open house is Friday, March 14th from 8:00am-3:00pm at New Vision School - 705 Ayersville Road, Madison. If unable to make the open house, two other dates and locations are scheduled and will be posted soon. Lastly, families can schedule an appointment by calling 336-548-4780.

The next RCS BOE Meeting will be held March 17, 2025 beginning at 4pm in the Downstairs Boardroom at 511 Harrington Highway, Eden, NC.
The RCS Policy Committee will meet from 2:30-3:30 pm at the same location in the Upstairs BR.
Rockingham County Schools will be hosting the 32nd annual Elementary All -County Chorus at Western Rockingham Middle School tonight at 6pm and the doors will be open at 5:30pm. There is no cost for admission, but donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. Students from elementary schools all across Rockingham County have been working very hard preparing for this amazing event. Under the direction of Dr. Brett Nolker and accompanied by Ed Spencer, students will work together to transform 5 pieces of music into a beautiful performance for the community to enjoy.
As a reminder the 15th Annual Catch the Reading Bug Community Reading Festival is Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 9 am - 2pm at Rockingham County Middle School!
